Tate Sameshima is a Toronto based visual artist with an affinity for story-telling. Tate holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Toronto Metropolitan University’s Technical Theatre Production Program. Here, he learned how authenticity and vulnerability can connect us, bridging gaps across differences that too often divide. In addition to selling in galleries throughout Ontario, Tate’s work has been featured on the Marilyn Denis Show, HGTV and graced the cover of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s 2016 programme.

"When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life." - Unknown
